Carrie DeSimone is a mild mannered office manager by day (needing organization, timing, communication skills!) but her passion is dance (needing organization, timing, communication skills!). She has attended the New York City Ballet's summer workshop in Saratoga Springs with Mrs. Schanne several times, and has even cajoled Max Baud (a former member of the Pennsylvania Ballet) to teach a class at Fay Schanne Dance Studio. She has studied many forms of dance at this studio starting in 1984, but she is most passionate about ballet (her favorite is Serenade, look it up!). She dances for the joy of it, and wants to help young stars to share in that feeling.
Michelle Umbehauer has been dancing since 1991. She was a student at Jazz Unlimited where she studied ballet, jazz, tap, clogging, hip-hop, lyrical, modern and musical theatre. She also competed nationally and has attended numerous workshops taught by notable choreographers including Paula Abdul and Mia Michaels. Michelle has also done choreography for the S.T.E.P. Theatre program and Lenape High School musicals along with being the head dance coach at Calvary Sports Camp. Along with dancing, Michelle has extensive training as a fitness instructor for children and adults.
